I'm just curious as to what happened to the "other forum". A lot of guys at my regular league night asked me if I knew...I didn't even know it was gone 'til they asked LOL. I didn't go on everyday or as regular as they obviously thought I did. Word has to get out a little louder for this one as some of the guys never knew of its existence. Just asking; anyone know the "real skinny"?

The advantages of our forum are:

- Much more modern layout
- Unlimited archived information (Voy only saved 10 pages and it disappeared after that)
- Transparency (The forum mods here are Rich Limone, Me, and Urbie)
- Login required (With a very simple registration process, we avoid the anonymity of posters which will eliminate abusive or inappropriate discussion)
- Perhaps the most important advantage - UrbTV is now exclusively being hosted at everythingcandlepin.com

Again, we appreciate the feedback Kenj, and if you could promote it for us that would be great!

It's true that I started posting videos as links from here as an inducement to try the forum. But also, it's a better way to keep control over the content, make sure they stay up forever in the same format, and otherwise not cede control to Google. Also, YouTube compresses the video, so it's not as clear, at least most of the time.

It was getting to the point that you couldn't go more than 48 hours without something derogatory or insulting. I think the other problem is just what Frank said. Chris Cooper threw a 202 game, and the mention of that (prior to Voy being deleted) is now gone because you can only have 10 pages of posts. That should be mentioned somewhere, now his moment is just gone.

@Frank: Thanks for the good points. I think we're pretty clear of what we're trying to accomplish, and slowly, it seems to be working.

@Urb: Keep the videos coming!
